Objective: To study the effective factors and difficulties in the application of Suitable Technique of Chinese Medicine(STCM) in the countryside.
Methods: A survey on current situation was carried out on incumbency doctors in 12 cities with a self-designed questionnaire.
Results: In 1387 available questionnaire, 51.8% of the doctors agreed with the active application of some STCM in the countryside while 42.8% thought that they could be promoted. Factors as age, titles of professional, jobs and holding a diploma had close relation with their attitude to the application of techniques in their cities (P < 0.01).
Conclusion: Suitable technique of CM could be adopted by the rural doctors working at the grassroot healthcare unit, suggesting that these techniques should be popularized step by step.

Background Aims: Extracellular vesicles (EVs) have gained traction as potential cell-free therapeutic candidates. Development of purification methods that are scalable and robust is a major focus of EV research. Yet there is still little in the literature that evaluates purification methods against potency of the EV product.

Purpose: Structured abdominal examination is an essential part of the medical curriculum and surgical training, requiring a blend of theory and practice from trainees. Current training methods, however, often do not provide adequate engagement, fail to address individual learning needs or do not cover rare diseases.
Methods: In this work, an application for structured Abdominal Examination Training using Augmented Reality (AETAR) is presented.

For the purpose of this study, four natural rock samples-namely, diorite, granodiorite, tonalite, and granite-are being investigated about their radiation attenuation. The elemental composition of the rocks was obtained through Energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX) which examines the microstructural and localized area elemental analyses of the four rock samples. A Monte Carlo simulation (MCNP) was used to determine and evaluate the investigated samples.

Purpose: Free Open Access Medical Education (FOAMed) is an emergent phenomenon within medical education. The rise of FOAMed resources has meant that medical education needs no longer be confined to the lecture theatre or the hospital setting, but rather, can be produced and shared amongst any individual or group with access to internet and a suitable device. This study presents a review of the use of FOAMed resources by students as part of their university medical education.

Objectives: This study investigates the use of sustained phonations recorded during high-speed videoendoscopy (HSV) for machine learning-based assessment of hoarseness severity (H). The performance of this approach is compared with conventional recordings obtained during voice therapy to evaluate key differences and limitations of HSV-derived acoustic recordings.
Methods: A database of 617 voice recordings with a duration of 250 ms was gathered during HSV examination (HS).
