Silver nanoparticle (AgNP) assemblies combined with electrode surfaces have a myriad of applications in electrochemical energy storage and conversion devices, (bio)sensor development, and electrocatalysis. Among various nanoparticle synthesis methods, electrochemical deposition is advantageous due to its ability to control experimental parameters, enabling the formation of low-nanoscale (<10 nm) particles with narrow size distributions. Herein, we report the electrodeposition of AgNPs on a unique electrode platform based on carbon ultramicroelectrode arrays (CUAs), exploring several experimental variables including potential, time, and silver ion concentration.

In nature, chirality transfer refines biomolecules across all size scales, bestowing them with a myriad of sophisticated functions. Despite recent advances in replicating chirality transfer with biotic or abiotic building blocks, a molecular understanding of the underlying mechanism of chirality transfer remains a daunting challenge. In this paper, the coassembly of two types of glycopeptide molecules differing in capability of forming intermolecular hydrogen bonds enabled the involvement of discontinuous hydrogen bond, which allowed for a nanoscale chirality transfer from glycopeptide molecules to chiral micelles, yet inhibited the micrometer scale chirality transfer toward helix formation, leading to an achiral transfer from chiral micelles to planar monolayer.

Flexible electronics, also referred to as printable electronics, represent an interesting technology for implementing electronic circuits via depositing electronic devices onto flexible substrates, boosting their possible applications. Among all flexible electronics, interdigitated electrodes (IDEs) are currently being used for different sensor applications since they offer significant benefits beyond their functionality as capacitors, like the generation of high output voltage, fewer fabrication steps, convenience of application of sensitive coatings, material imaging capability and a potential of spectroscopy measurements via electrical excitation frequency variation. This review examines the role of IDEs in printed and flexible electronics since they are progressively being incorporated into a myriad of applications, envisaging that the growth pattern will continue in the next generations of flexible circuits to come.

Purpose: Abdominal imaging is frequently performed with breath holds or respiratory triggering to reduce the effects of respiratory motion. Diffusion weighted sequences provide a useful clinical contrast but have prolonged scan times due to low signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), and cannot be completed in a single breath hold. Echo-planar imaging (EPI) is the most commonly used trajectory for diffusion weighted imaging but it is susceptible to off-resonance artifacts.

The ubiquitous presence of pharmaceutical pollution in the environment and its adverse impacts on public health and aquatic ecosystems have recently attracted increasing attention. Graphene oxide coated with magnetite (GO-FeO) is effective at removing pharmaceuticals in water by adsorption. However, the myriad compositions in real water are known to adversely impact the adsorption performance.
