At least 227 combinations of symptoms meet the criteria for Major Depressive Disorder (MDD). However, in clinical practice, patients consistently present symptoms in a regular rather than random manner, and the neural basis underlying the MDD subtypes remains unclear. To help clarify the neural basis, patients with MDD were clustered by symptom combinations to investigate the neural underpinning of each subtype using functional resonance imaging (fMRI).

Background: Myotonia is the main feature of both myotonic dystrophy (DM) and non-dystrophic myotonia (NDM). It is felt as stiffness, pain, fatigue, and weakness. In France, mexiletine, a non-selective voltage-gated sodium channel blocker, is approved for the treatment of myotonia in adults with NDM, and it has a temporary recommendation for use in the symptomatic treatment of DM in adults.

Misophonia is a disorder in which specific common sounds such as another person breathing or chewing, or the ticking of a clock, cause an atypical negative emotional response. Affected individuals may experience anger, irritability, annoyance, disgust, and anxiety, as well as physiological autonomic responses, and may find everyday environments and contexts to be unbearable in which their 'misophonic stimuli' (often called 'trigger sounds') are present. Misophonia is gradually being recognized as a genuine problem that causes significant distress and has negative consequences for individuals and their families.

Background: A positive pathologic retroperitoneal surgical resection margin in the retroperitonealized colon is reported to predict distant metastases. However, no studies have investigated retroperitoneal surgical resection margin positivity on computed tomography colonography and its prognostic significance.
Methods: Patients who underwent primary resection for ascending or descending colon cancer at our institution between 2013 and 2018 were retrospectively evaluated (n = 206).
