Objective: Rapid nondestructive determination of salvianolic acid B and tanshinone IIA in Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae with near-infrared reflectance spectroscopy.

Method: A quantitive model was built up with near-infrared diffuse reflectance spectroscopy.

Results: The RMSEP in quantitative calibration model for salvianolic acid B and tanshinone IIA were 0.259 and 0.0232 respectively.

Conclusion: NIR technique can dispose the samples without complicated pretreatment. You can achieve the results rapidly and correctly. It owns many remarkable advantages that cannot be displayed by traditional analysis methods. It is qualified to rapidly analyze traditional Chinese medicine whose components are complex. NIR can control the quality in production process of traditional Chinese medicine.

Hair loss is one of the skin conditions that can affect people's mental health. Plant raw material extracts are of great interest due to their safety. In this study, we utilize reverse network pharmacology to screen for key targets of the Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway and the TGFβ/BMP signaling pathway, as well as key differential lipids, for plant raw materials selection.

The design and development of advanced surgical sutures with appropriate structure and abundant bio-functions are urgently required for the chronic wound closure and treatment. In this study, an integrated technique routine combining modified electrospinning with hot stretching process was proposed and implemented to fabricate poly(L-lactic acid) (PLLA) nanofiber sutures, and the Salvia miltiorrhiza Bunge-Radix Puerariae herbal compound (SRHC) was encapsulated into PLLA nanofibers during the electrospinning process to enrich the biofunction of as-generated sutures. All the PLLA sutures loading without or with SRHC were found to exhibit bead-free and highly-aligned nanofiber structure.

Background: The Beclin-1/Bcl-2 complex plays a pivotal role in regulating both autophagy and apoptosis in osteoblasts affected by osteoporosis. This study first investigates whether the Bushen Jianpi Huoxue Formula can enhance the cellular function of osteoblasts. Additionally, it initially explores the functional mechanism of Beclin-1/Bcl-2-related apoptosis.
