[The evaluation of socio-medical well-being of elderly people in Russia (capability to function and priorities derived from the opinion poll)].

Our consideration of data from elder people (health, welfare, style of life, and capability to function--"life quality" in general) presented here as continuation of our research and analysis started in year 2004. The data of elderly capability to function are investigated for seven Russian European areas (Moscow, Zhukovsky, Dubna, five villages of Moscow region, Kursk, Novgorod, Samara). The quality of social and medical service was evaluated among the elderly community with due regard for common needs. This opinion poll results are valuable database in the special projects for the social risk groups. The responding social key factors are ranked firstly.
