The synthesis of nanomaterials from PGPB is an exciting approach and it's often used in agriculture as nano-fertilizers and nano-pesticides. The present study reports a new approach to biosynthesis of silver nanoparticles (AgNP), using bacterial metabolites as agents to reduce Ag, which will remain as coating agents able to prevent microbial growth. Silver NP were biosynthesized using the bacterial metabolites produced by the beneficial strain Pseudomonas sp.

X-ray-based methods are powerful tools for structural and chemical studies of materials and processes, particularly for performing time-resolved measurements. In this critical review, we highlight progress in the development of X-ray compatible microfluidic and millifluidic platforms that enable high temporal and spatial resolution X-ray analysis across the chemical and materials sciences. With a focus on liquid samples and suspensions, we first present the origins of microfluidic sample environments for X-ray analysis by discussing some alternative liquid sample holder and manipulator technologies.

In the current era of nanotechnology, the isolation of graphene has acted as a catalyst for the study and creation of many innovative two-dimensional (2D) materials with distinctive functions. The recent synthesis of biphenylene (BPN), a porous 2D carbon allotrope, has ignited significant research interest due to its unique and tunable properties, making it a promising candidate for diverse applications in hydrogen storage, batteries, sensing, electrocatalysis, and beyond. Although a considerable amount of research has been carried out on biphenylene, there is hardly any review article on this fascinating material.

Magnetic particle imaging (MPI) is an emerging imaging modality with exciting biomedical applications, such as cell tracking, blood pool imaging, and image-guided magnetic hyperthermia. MPI is unique in that signal is generated entirely by synthetic nanoparticle tracers, motivating precise engineering of magnetic nanoparticle properties including size, shape, composition, and coating to address the needs of specific applications. However, success in many applications and in clinical transition requires development of high-sensitivity and high-resolution tracers, for which there is considerable room for improvement.

The emergence of new psychoactive substances (NPS) in the global drug market since the 2000s has posed major challenges for regulators and law enforcement agencies. Among these, synthetic cathinones have gained prominence due to their stimulant effects on the central nervous system, leading to widespread recreational use. These compounds, often marketed as alternatives to illicit stimulants such as amphetamines and cocaine, have been linked to numerous cases of intoxication, addiction and death.
