We report on structural valve deterioration in patients with the Medtronic Freestyle aortic bioprosthesis (Medtronic, Inc, Minneapolis, MN), including spontaneous perforation of the Valsalva sinus. These occurred in four prosthesis in 3 patients using the modified subcoronary method or full root technique. One patient died of ruptured pseudoaneurysm and the others survived reoperation well. Careful follow-up is required after Freestyle bioprosthesis implantation.

Background: The simultaneous diagnosis of severe aortic regurgitation and aortic root pseudoaneurysm resulting from traffic injury is extremely rare. This report presents the case of a patient with Marfan syndrome who experienced aortic root pseudoaneurysm and subacute severe aortic regurgitation following a traffic accident.
Case Presentation: A 64-year-old woman was diagnosed with Marfan syndrome 16 years ago and is undergoing ongoing follow-up at an outpatient clinic.

Purpose: This study aimed to assess the efficacy and safety of ballon dilation of the eustachian tube (BDET) in adult population suffering from Eustachian tube dysfunction (ETD).
Methods: Following PRISMA criteria, a systematic review was conducted by searching PubMed, Cochrane, and Embase databases from January 2015 to March 2024. The primary outcomes included Eustachian Tube Score (ETS), tympanometry, and Valsalva maneuver.

Reflux and recirculation in primary varicose veins are not yet completely understood, and the contribution of perforator veins is dual.Reflux origin was assessed as junctional (JP, reflux of the greater saphenous junction or groin recurrences) with/without suspect perforator veins (SPV), or perforator phenotype (PP, reflux from SPV only or for statistical purposes from the small saphenous vein). Flow direction and intensity were recorded under Valsalva (JP) or as spontaneous/under distal compression/decompression (SPV) and weighted with one/two points as reflux/reentry, respectively, in the case of SPV.
