The flow properties and hydrophilicity of an impression material are key factors that affect its performance. This article details in vitro studies comparing these properties in 1 polyether and several vinyl polysiloxane light-body impression materials. The first series of studies examined the materials' flow properties used in a "shark fin" measurement procedure to determine which exhibited superior flow characteristics. The second series of studies reviewed the hydrophilic properties of the materials. Video analysis was used to record contact angle measurements at the early- and late-stage working times. Results showed 1 polyether material to be more hydrophilic. Applying this knowledge to practice, the authors present a clinical case in which a polyether's superior flow and quality of detail were used to make impressions for a patient receiving 8 single-unit zirconia crowns.

Objective: This study aimed to assess and compare the internal fit of custom-made posts and cores fabricated using digital impressions (DI) and conventional vinyl polysiloxane (VPS) impressions in restorative dentistry.
Materials And Methods: A typodont tooth model, simulating the anatomy of the root canal of a central incisor, was utilized for the study. Two groups were formed, Group A and Group B, and each group provided a total of 18 impressions of two types: DIs and VPS impressions.

Objective: This study aimed to evaluate the change in the patient's background and attitude toward infertility treatment both before and after the initiation of insurance coverage and to explore future issues from the patients' perspectives.
Materials And Methods: A cross-sectional survey was conducted in a fertility clinic in Japan from February to June 2022. An original questionnaire was given for two groups of new patients at a fertility clinic on their first visit: before fertility treatment insurance coverage started (Before-coverage) and after fertility treatment insurance coverage started (After-coverage).

Background: Around 40% of people with major depressive disorder (MDD) experience moderate remission, with the remainder meeting the criteria for resistant major depression (RMD). It has been shown that exercise has a low-to-moderate effect on MDD, but there is a lack of evidence on exercise interventions in RMD patients. The primary purpose of the proposed study will be to investigate the effect of a 12-week supervised combined exercise program on depressive symptoms in people with RMD compared to a treatment-as-usual (TAU) group.

Materials And Methods: Women, 40‒79 years, with OAB and urge urinary incontinence (UUI) who were refractory to OAB medications were randomized to single-dose URO-902 24 and 48 mg or placebo administered by intradetrusor injection via cystoscopy under local anesthesia. Efficacy endpoints included change from baseline to week 12 in mean daily micturitions, urgency episodes, UUI episodes, and patient-reported outcomes.

Over the past few years, treatment of burn injuries has evolved beyond primary surgical therapy with the development of enzymatic debridement and new types of skin replacement materials by providing complex personalized therapy concepts aimed at preserving and replacing the dermal layer of the skin. The aim of our study was to develop an individualized treatment algorithm for mixed depth burn wound and evaluate the outcomes of individualized combined treatment of mixed depth burn wounds with enzymatic debridement and decellularized fish skin. A total of 18 patients with a mean age of 34.
