We present a case report of a 28-year-old man with a huge tumor that occupies both dilated atria almost completely but not extending into the ventricles. Cardiac rhabdomyosarcoma (CR) is extremely rare in adult patients. Its rarity and heterogenous clinical presentation make diagnosis difficult. In our case, after we have made an initial diagnosis via echocardiography, we took biopsies under computed tomography (CT) guiding. Histologic examination showed a CR. We want to emphasize that CT-guided biopsy is a useful and applicable technique in establishing preoperative diagnosis of intracardiac masses.

Sarcomas are rare, mesenchymal tumors, representing about 10-15% of all childhood cancers. GD2 is a suitable target for chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy due to its overexpression in several solid tumors. In this preclinical study, we investigated the potential use of iCasp9.

Long non-coding RNA rhabdomyosarcoma 2-associated transcript (RMST) has been found to exert effects on cardiovascular diseases. However, the research for probing its role in heart failure (HF) is limited. Our study intends to unravel the regulatory effects of RMST on HF via the microRNA (miR)-10b-5p/tumor necrosis factor receptor-associated factor 6 (TRAF6) axis.

Background: Coxsackievirus B3 (CVB3) is a leading cause of viral myocarditis and is currently lacking specific pharmacological treatments, highlighting the critical need for therapeutic development. Icariin (ICA), a prenylated flavonol glycoside, was previously found to exhibit several pharmacological effects, but its potential to combat CVB3 remains uninvestigated.
Purpose: This study aimed to elucidate the anti-CVB3 efficacy of ICA and elucidate its molecular mechanisms.

Background: Primary malignant cardiac tumors are exceedingly rare and cardiac rhabdomyosarcoma among them is an exceptional rarity characterized by a dismal poor prognosis.
Case Presentation: A 48-year-old man had suffered from a persistent cough lasting for more than 6 months and computed tomography showed a huge mass in the pericardial cavity with heterogeneous content. Following referral to our department for suspected cardiac malignancy, cardiac magnetic resonance imaging revealed a lucent layer on the boundary around the mass, suggesting the feasibility of surgical resection.

Rhabdomyosarcoma (RMS) is the most common soft tissue sarcoma in children and adolescents and its occurrence in adults is extremely rare. There are three major subtypes of RMS of which alveolar RMS (ARMS) has the worst prognosis and tends to metastasize to unusual locations such as the pancreas. We present a case of a 19-year-old male with a rapidly enlarging right orbital mass, the imaging of which revealed it to be an infiltrative lesion with extension into the nasal cavity, ethmoid sinuses, and intracranial involvement.
