Behavior modification programs (BMP) have been suggested to be useful for the self-management of hemodialysis (HD) patients. To provide more systematic care, we structured the procedure of the thinking process and care in BMPs as an algorithm. BMP developers produced a temporary algorithm based on previous studies, discussed it with nurses with BMP experience, and added and revised necessary items. As a result, an algorithm of BMP with high reproducibility that allows maintenance of consistent quality for the self-management of HD patients could be developed.

Background: Prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA) positron emission tomography/computed tomography (PET/CT) is currently under evaluation for detecting clinically significant prostate cancer. The PSMA-PET/CT may complement the current standard diagnostic pathway for prostate cancer, which includes prostate-specific antigen (PSA) testing and multiparametric magnetic resonance imaging (mpMRI). Background: Cancer pain is a common symptom in patients with malignant tumors and associated with poor prognosis and a high risk of death. Structural connectivity (SC) and functional connectivity (FC) couplings have not yet been explored in lung cancer patients with bone metastasis pain.
Methods: In total, 51 patients with lung cancer without bone metastasis pain (BMP-), 52 patients with lung cancer with bone metastasis pain (BMP+), and 28 healthy controls (HC) were prospectively enrolled in our study.

The integrated application of hydrological models and best management practices (BMPs) serves as a pivotal decision-making tool for managing nonpoint source (NPS) pollution in watersheds. Optimizing and selecting BMP options are critical challenges in managing NPS pollution, as these processes are typically computationally expensive and involve mixed discrete-continuous decision variables. Our study integrated a novel method, the multi-objective adaptive surrogate modeling-based optimization for constrained hybrid problems (MO-ASMOCH), with the distributed Soil and Water Assessment Tool (SWAT) model to efficiently optimize the deployment of BMPs in the Four Lakes watershed of China.
