Objective: To explore the possible roles of three neuropeptides in the pathogenesis of vasomotor rhinitis by studying the expression and distribution of neuropeptides in the mucosa of vasomotor rhinitis, such as Substance P(SP), calcitonin gene-related peptide (CGRP) and vasoactive intestinal peptide(VIP).
Method: The mucosa specimens of thirty vasomotor rhinitis patients who had typical symptoms and signs were selected randomly as the experiment group and were divided into two subgroups depending on if received treatment or not. While the normal middle turbinate mucosa specimens of nine cases were selected as the control group. The expression and distribution of neuropeptides were examined by immunohistochemical SP method and computer image disposing and analyzing system.
Result: The terminals of SP, CGRP and VIP in the treated experiment group wer and untreated experiment group were markedly increased in density of immunostaining compared to the control group, and the difference is significant (P < 0.01).
Conclusion: Neuropeptides, such as SP, CGRP and VIP, may play important roles in the pathophysiological mechanism of vasomotor rhinitis.

Unlabelled: To reduce the inflammatory reaction that occurs in the nasal mucosa after surgical interventions, it seems promising to develop methods of preventive preparation of the epithelium to the effects of damaging factors in the preoperative period.
Objective: To evaluate the effectiveness of the protective effect of sodium deoxyribonuclease solution on the nasal mucosa in the preoperative period in rhinological patients.
Material And Methods: 71 patients were examined after septoplasty with vasotomy of the lower nasal concha for curvature of the nasal septum and vasomotor rhinitis.

Background: Multimorbidity has emerged as a challenge for health systems due to its association with adverse clinical outcomes. Given the limited information available on multimorbidity, particularly in low- and middle-income countries, this study characterizes multimorbidity patterns in the population of Bogotá, Colombia in 2018.
Methods: In a cross-sectional study, we analyzed 16 million medical consultation records from Bogotá reported in the National Service Delivery Records in 2018.

Objective: Continuous research on the structure and function of intestinal microecology has confirmed the association between gut microbiota and the occurrence, development, and outcome of allergic diseases. Here, we explored the genetic causality between gut microbiota and rhinitis.
Methods: We conducted a two-sample Mendelian Randomization (MR) study to investigate the genetic causal relationship between gut microbiota and allergic rhinitis and vasomotor rhinitis.
