Objective: To provide the experimental data for the quality control of Paeonia lactiflora a prepared Chinese medicinal herb.
Method: The contents paeoniflorin among different growing areas and different processing methods methods were assayed by HPLC.
Result: The quantitative differences of paeoniflorin content among different growing areas and different processing methods wereanalyzed quantitatively.
Conclusion: The quantitative differences among different growing areas were not significant and the quantitative differences among different processing methods within 10%.

Magnetic nanoparticles (MNPs) are highly versatile nanomaterials in nanomedicine, owing to their diverse magnetic properties, which can be tailored through variations in size, shape, composition, and exposure to inductive magnetic fields. Over four decades of research have led to the clinical approval or ongoing trials of several MNP formulations, fueling continued innovation. Beyond traditional applications in drug delivery, imaging, and cancer hyperthermia, MNPs have increasingly advanced into molecular medicine.

Riboswitches are ligand-responsive gene-regulatory RNA elements that perform key roles in maintaining cellular homeostasis. Understanding how riboswitch sensitivity to ligand (EC) is controlled is critical to explain how highly conserved aptamer domains are deployed in a variety of contexts with different sensitivity demands. Here we uncover roles by which RNA folding dynamics control riboswitch sensitivity in cells.

The population is aging, especially in rural areas where people experience higher rates of mortality and chronic illness as well as greater distances to care, including specialty care. Since there is a lack of access to specialty palliative care, all clinicians must be trained to provide the fundamentals of palliative care to improve quality of life and limit suffering. Numerous options are available for clinicians to be trained in palliative care.
