A number of specific Fab and Fv fragments and their complexes with antigens (avian lysozymes), haptens, and anti-idiotopic Fabs have been studied by immunochemical and crystallographic techniques. Antigen and antibody interact through closely complementary contacting surfaces, without major conformational changes. An idiotopic determinant of a monoclonal antibody is shown to include parts of most of its complementarity determining regions. The specificity of antigen recognition resides in the close complementarity of the antigenic determinant with the antibody combining site.

The trichomes of mustard leaves have significance due to their ability to combat unfavorable external conditions and enhance disease resistance. It was demonstrated that the MYB-bHLH-WD40 (MBW) ternary complex consists of MYB, basic Helix-Loop-Helix (bHLH), and WD40-repeat (WD40) family proteins and plays a key role in regulating trichome formation and density. The bHLH gene family, particularly the Myelocytomatosis (MYC) proteins that possess the structural bHLH domain (termed bHLH-MYC), are crucial to the formation and development of leaf trichomes in plants.

Indwelling medical devices, such as urinary catheters, often experience bacterial colonization, forming biofilms that resist antibiotics and the host's immune defenses through quorum sensing (QS), a chemical communication system. This study explores the development of antimicrobial coatings by immobilizing acylase, a quorum-quenching enzyme, on sandblasted polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) surfaces. PDMS, commonly used in medical devices, was sandblasted to increase its surface roughness, enhancing acylase attachment.

The advancement of neural radiance fields (NeRFs) has facilitated the high-quality 3D reconstruction of complex scenes. However, for most NeRFs, reconstructing 3D tissues from endoscopy images poses significant challenges due to the occlusion of soft tissue regions by invalid pixels, deformations in soft tissue, and poor image quality, which severely limits their application in endoscopic scenarios. To address the above issues, we propose a novel framework to reconstruct high-fidelity soft tissue scenes from low-quality endoscopic images.
