To compare the features of a modified WHO/UCLA AVLT performance in the cognitive normal, amnestic mild cognitive impairment (aMCI) and mild Alzheimer's disease (mild AD) patients. A total of 105 cases of cognitivenormal (CN), 48 aMCI and 50 mild AD patients were included between 2016 and 2018. All subjects undertook detailed neuropsychological tests and brain MRI/CT scan.

Background: There are limited data on the use of artificial intelligence methods for the diagnosis of dementia in epidemiological studies in low- and middle-income country (LMIC) settings. A culture and education fair battery of cognitive tests was developed and validated for population based studies in low- and middle-income countries including India by the 10/66 Dementia Research Group.
Aims: We explored the machine learning methods based on the 10/66 battery of cognitive tests for the diagnosis of dementia based in a birth cohort study in South India.

Background: The 10/66 Dementia Research Group developed and validated a culture and education fair battery of cognitive tests for diagnosis of dementia in population-based studies in low-income and middle-income countries including India.
Aims: This study examined the association between individual domains of the 10/66 battery of cognitive tests and 'disability' and 'functional impairment' in community-dwelling older adults in South India.
Methods: One hundred twenty-nine adults aged 60-90 years residing in Karunapura, in the city of Mysore, were interviewed in their own homes.

Objective: Brief screening tools for dementia for use by non-specialists in primary care have yet to be validated in non-western settings where cultural factors and limited education may complicate the task. We aimed to derive a brief version of cognitive and informant scales from the Community Screening Instrument for Dementia (CSI-D) and to carry out initial assessments of their likely validity.
Methods: We applied Mokken analysis to CSI-D cognitive and informant scale data from 15 022 participants in representative population-based surveys in Latin America, India and China, to identify a subset of items from each that conformed optimally to item response theory scaling principles.
