Introduction: Malignant tumors constituted 25% of all gland tumors, the most frequently in parotid gland.
Material And Methods: The study is analysis of 436 patients with parotid gland tumors who underwent surgery in ENT Department. The results of histopatological diagnosis are presented. We analysed surgical treatment, intraoperative tumor stage and accuracy of fine - needle aspiration cytology in diagnosis.
Results: Malignant tumors constituted 22% of all gland tumors. Mucoepidermoid (27%) and adenoid cyst (22%) carcinomas were the most common malignant tumor. Tumor stage T3-T4 was in 88,5% cases. Accuracy of fine-needle aspiration cytology in diagnosis of parotid tumors is 81,2%.

Pineal gland lesions pose a significant surgical challenge due to the deep-seated nature of the pineal gland, as well as the limited field of view, and the complex vascular anatomy. The mainstay of surgical treatment, when necessary, is always histopathological clarity and gross total resection (GTR). We evaluate the surgical outcomes for pineal gland lesions, shedding light on functional outcomes, histological findings, and surgical complications.

Parinaud syndrome, also known as dorsal midbrain syndrome, is a condition affecting the dorsal midbrain region of the brainstem that presents with a triad of ophthalmic clinical findings, including upgaze paresis, convergence retraction nystagmus, and light-near dissociation. This case report will discuss the clinical presentation of Parinaud syndrome in a four-year-old patient who was seen in an out-patient clinic for intermittent exotropia 5 months after a suboccipital craniotomy resection of a pineal mass and ventriculoperitoneal (VP) shunt placement for associated hydrocephalus. Current literature is relatively sparse regarding the presentation of Parinaud syndrome in the pediatric population, with little known about prognosis and potential for recovery.

Colorectal cancer with gut-associated lymphoid tissue (GALT) carcinoma histopathology is particularly rare in very elderly patients. GALT is characterized by submucosal localization and prominent lymphoid infiltration with germinal center formation within tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes. This study aims to report a case of colorectal cancer with GALT carcinoma histopathology in a very elderly patient and to provide a comprehensive literature review.

Purpose: The thyroid gland is an organ at risk in breast cancer survivors who receive radiation therapy to the supraclavicular lymph nodes. We investigated the effect of radiation dose to the thyroid gland on the incidence of hypothyroidism in early-stage breast cancer patients treated with CT-guided radiation therapy.
Patients And Methods: We recruited women aged ≤75 years diagnosed with breast cancer from March 2016 through August 2017 at Odense University Hospital, Denmark.

Introduction: Salivary gland tumors represent only 3%-6% of all head and neck neoplasms, and approximately 70% of these tumors are located in the parotid gland. Most of these tumors are found in the more abundant superficial portion of the parotid gland, lateral to the facial nerve (FN). For many years, the location of the facial nerve between the superficial and deep segments of the parotid gland hindered adequate tumor extirpation.
