Septal agenesis is a rare brain malformation that is characterized by partial or complete absence of the septum pellucidum, either isolated or associated with other brain anomalies. We report a case presenting with septal agenesis and normal optic chiasm and pituitary function in a fetus at 19 weeks of gestation.

Heterotaxy syndrome, a condition in which the internal organs are abnormally arranged in the thorax or abdomen, is generally diagnosed early in life, often during the neonatal period. We present the case of a 42-year-old male who was incidentally diagnosed with polysplenia syndrome and subsequently diagnosed with heterotaxy syndrome. This condition is typically associated with ipsilateral renal agenesis and is known as Herlyn-Werner-Wunderlich syndrome or OHVIRA (Obstructed HemiVagina and Ipsilateral Renal Anomaly) syndrome. The primary symptoms include dysmenorrhea and pelvic pain, which usually manifest after menarche due to haematocolpos in the obstructed hemivagina.
