Juvenile nasopharyngeal angiofibroma represents non-incapsulated benign tumor. It can lead to serious problems with the extension into nearest structures. Recidivism is described in 20 to 30 % of cases, after surgical or other adjuvant therapy. Three patients with juvenile nasopharyngeal angiofibroma that underwent surgery in a five year period (2001-2005) at the ENT Clinic of the University Clinical Center in Sarajevo are evaluated in this paper. No complications were encountered during surgical procedure and early postoperative period. Recidivism are not noted two years after the surgery. Surgical method of choice in stage IA and IB is combined transnasal-oropharyngeal technique. Other surgical procedures are used for more extensive processes.
