Rosai-Dorfman disease (RDD) is a self-limited, idiopathic, non-neoplastic disorder characterized by the proliferation of phagocytic histiocytes, which can mimic malignant lymphoproliferative disease. Cases of RDD most commonly present as bilateral painless cervical lymphadenopathy, with lesser involvement of the axilla, inguinal, and mediastinal lymph nodes. We present the case of a 62-year-old woman with a history of endometrial serous carcinoma who underwent evaluation at a dedicated breast imaging department after positron emission tomography/computed tomography (PET/CT) revealed breast masses and axillary nodes with increased uptake of fluorodeoxyglucose (FDG).

The purpose of this study was to determine the association between GDM and subsequent cardiovascular disease during a period of rising gestational diabetes diagnosis in England. Specifically, associations were compared before and after 2008, when national guidelines supporting risk factor-based screening were introduced.

Heparin-induced thrombocytopenia (HIT) is an adverse drug reaction with significant thromboembolic risk. Though there are models for use of non-heparin anticoagulants, heparin remains the preferred anticoagulant in many operative settings, especially cardiovascular surgery and percutaneous cardiac intervention. The natural history of HIT can be stereotyped into phases using HIT laboratory testing to guide clinical management and determine whether heparin re-exposure can be considered.
