A SSFSE sequence is proposed in the sagittal plane for a cine-MRI of the cervical spine in front-line rugby players. Thus one can complete the static study and improve the detection of canal stenosis and the prevention of spinal cord injuries.

: Accurate and reproducible spleen volume measurements are essential for assessing treatment response and disease progression in myelofibrosis. This study evaluates techniques for measuring spleen volume on abdominal MRI. : In 20 patients with bone marrow biopsy-proven myelofibrosis, 5 observers independently measured spleen volume on 3 abdominal MRI pulse sequences, 3D-spoiled gradient echo T1, axial single-shot fast spin echo (SSFSE) T2, and coronal SSFSE T2, using ellipsoidal approximation, manual contouring, and 3D nnU-Net model-assisted contouring comparing coefficients of variation.

Background: At high magnetic fields, degraded image quality due to dielectric artifacts and elevated specific absorption rate (SAR) are two technical challenges in fetal MRI.
Purpose: To assess the potential of high dielectric constant (HDC) pad in increasing image quality and decreasing SAR for 3 T fetal MRI.
Study Type: Prospective.

Follicle count, a pivotal metric in the adjunct diagnosis of polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), is often underestimated when assessed via transvaginal ultrasonography compared to MRI. Nevertheless, the repeatability of follicle counting using traditional MR images is still compromised by motion artifacts or inadequate spatial resolution. In this prospective study involving 22 PCOS patients, we employed periodically rotated overlapping parallel lines with enhanced reconstruction (PROPELLER) and single-shot fast spin-echo (SSFSE) T2-weighted sequences to suppress motion artifacts in high-resolution ovarian MRI.

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is used for diagnosing placenta accreta spectrum disorders (PASDs) because of its advanced soft-tissue contrast and spatial resolution capabilities, offering better contrast, improved spatial resolution, and a wider field of view compared with ultrasound. Using a 1.5-Tesla MRI protocol with multiple sequences, MRI can detect indicative signs of PASD such as placental signal heterogeneity, interruption of the myometrium-placenta interface, and abnormal vascularization.

Purpose: To evaluate the feasibility of a high-precision single-shot fast spin-echo (SS-FSE) sequence using the deep learning-based Precise IQ Engine (PIQE) algorithm in comparison with standard SS-FSE for T2-weighted MR imaging of the abdomen, and to compare the image quality with a multi-shot (MS)-FSE sequence using the PIQE algorithm.
Methods: This retrospective study included 105 patients who underwent abdominal MR including T2-weighted sequences using the PIQE reconstruction algorithm. The image quality, signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), and contrast-to-noise ratio (CNR) in high-precision SS-FSE sequences using PIQE were compared to those in standard SS-FSE without PIQE and MS-FSE sequences using PIQE.
