Introduction: The late autumn epizootic of the highly pathogenic avian influenza virus (HPAIV) subtype H5N1 in Serbia in 2023 caused massive mortality in the migratory population of common cranes (). This is the first time HPAIV has been identified in the common crane in Serbia, leading to mass mortality of this bird species.

Inflammatory bowel diseases (IBDs), including Crohn's disease (CD) and ulcerative colitis (UC), are chronic conditions characterized by periods of intestinal inflammation and have become global diseases. Dietary pectins have shown protective effects on IBD models. However, the development of pectin-based diet intervention for IBD individuals requires knowledge of both the bioactive structural patterns and the mechanisms underlying diet-microbiota-host interactions.

Objective: To analyze treatment outcomes in patients with traumatic spleen injury and improve their management through introduction of modern approaches.
Material And Methods: We retrospectively analyzed treatment outcomes in 126 patients with spleen injury who underwent surgery between 2018 and 2023. Analysis was performed using Excel and Statistica software, as well as Spearman correlation and χ tests.

In order to investigate the clinical manifestations and laboratory findings associated with brucellosis for the purpose of facilitating prompt clinical diagnosis and effective treatment, as well as to offer a laboratory reference for the prevention of brucellosis outbreaks. In this study, a retrospective cohort design was employed to gather epidemiological characteristics, clinical symptoms, and associated laboratory data from 391 patients diagnosed with bacterial culture-positive brucellosis at the People's Hospital of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region between 2019 and 2023. The patients were categorized into four age groups, with each group representing a 20 years age interval.
