Melasma significantly impacts life quality, and while various laser therapies show promise, rigorous comparative studies, especially between the novel Picosecond Alexandrite Laser (PSAL) and the traditional combined modality of Q-switched and Long-pulse Nd: YAG Lasers (QLNYL), are notably lacking. This study aims to fill this gap by evaluating the efficacy and safety of these modalities, providing insights into their comparative advantages for clinical practice. In a prospective, evaluator-blinded study, 40 participants with Fitzpatrick Skin Types (FST) III and IV underwent three treatment sessions at four-week intervals with either PSAL or QLNYL.

Introduction: The prevention of diabetic foot ulcer (DFU) involves the classification of risk, systemic care, regular examinations, foot care, therapeutic education and adjunct treatments. Photobiomodulation (PBM) has been successfully administered for the healing of DFU and its preventive effects have drawn the interest of researchers.

Methods And Analysis: The purpose of the study is to assess the effect of PBM for the prevention of DFU through a randomised, controlled, double-blind, clinical trial.

Background: Nonspecific low back pain (LBP) has become a significant worldwide public health problem. It is estimated that 84% of people present it at some point in their lives, in which 23% experience its chronic form, negatively affecting their daily lives. Because pain management tool that doesn't require a firm diagnosis, the development of a device, as SOLIO Alfa Cure Plus, that emanates low level laser therapy, radio frequency and heat with the goal of easing chronic back pain was highly expected.

Background: Photobiomodulation, specifically high-energy photobiomodulation therapy (H-PBMT), is gaining recognition as a promising non-invasive intervention for managing knee osteoarthritis (KOA). While H-PBMT has demonstrated effectiveness in reducing pain and improving physical function, most evidence to date focuses on short-term symptomatic relief. The potential for H-PBMT to offer sustained benefits and modify the underlying progression of KOA remains insufficiently explored, warranting further investigation.
