The corticosteroids administered intraoperatively has been shown to improve postoperative outcomes in patients undergoing surgery. Introduction: Chlorfenapyr, a broad-spectrum insecticide and acaricide of the pyrrole-class pesticides, can induce dizziness, fatigue, profuse sweating, and altered consciousness by interfering with cell energy metabolism. However, chlorfenapyr-related rhabdomyolysis has rarely been reported.
Case Presentations: Patient 1 was a healthy 26-year-old man who ingested approximately 30 mL of chlorfenapyr.

Nutritional support is associated with improved clinical outcomes in critically ill patients; however, loss of muscle mass during critical illness leads to weakness, delayed return to work, and increased healthcare consumption. Animal data have suggested that intermittent feeding decreases protein catabolism. This study was aimed at determining whether the mode of enteral nutrition administration might lead to differences in meeting nutritional goals, tolerance, and complications.

Introduction: Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) complicated by thrombotic microangiopathy (TMA) and non-cirrhotic portal hypertension (NCPH) is rare. We present a case of a female patient with SLE who developed TMA and NCPH and responded positively to rituximab and plasma exchange treatment.
Case Description: A 53-year-old woman was admitted with 6 h of confusion.
