Purpose: (1) Study the preoperative predictive factors (such as duration of symptoms, tumor size, and cystic component) and their effects on the type of resection and facial nerve (FN) outcomes. (2) Analyze the intraoperative predictive factors, such as the extent of resection and intraoperative FN stimulation. (3) Compare our approaches (enlarged translabyrinthine approach, transotic and transcochlear approaches) to other approaches (retro sigmoid) and review the literature comparing different approaches.

Bovine tuberculosis is a chronic disease caused by Mycobacterium bovis which rarely causes a neurologic clinical presentation. Tuberculous meningitis is a common clinical finding in young calves in dairy herds where tuberculosis is endemic, associated with the early consumption of milk from infected cows. Vestibular research is essential for understanding and treating disorders such as vertigo and Meniere's disease. The vestibulo-ocular reflex (VOR) is a key method for assessing vestibular function and an essential tool for diagnosing vertigo. We present the case of a patient with a vestibular schwannoma (VS) who developed vascular complications following surgery and discuss the potential mechanisms. Additionally, we systematically searched the literature to identify citations on vascular and brain stem complications following VS surgery. We excluded the articles related to facial and vestibulocochlear nerve-related complications and other complications, such as headache, tinnitus, and ataxia.
