Unlabelled: The authors assessed the in-hospital and long-term (up to 6 months) results of coronary stenting conducted just after diagnostic coronarography during a common procedure in patients with stable angina pectoris on effort. The 2001-2002 study included 2277 patients. The clinical indications for catheterization were Functional Classes II-IV stable angina on effort in 83 % of patients and silent ischemia in 17%. The study excluded patients with previous coronarography, acute coronary syndrome on admission, renal failure, left ventricular ejection fraction <30%, and left trunk stenosis. All the patients received aspirin and clopidogrel before catheterization.
Results: 57% of patients had multivessel disease; full revascularization was performed in 59% of the patients with multivessel disease. The coronary intervention was successful in 100% of cases. Significant in-hospital events (myocardial infarction without Q wave) were in 1.2% of cases. The mean length of hospital stay was 2.9 +/- 2.4 days. The rate of stent thrombosis for as long as 30 days was 0.2%. Recurrent angina and/or positive exercise tests were in 12% during 6 months.
Conclusion: immediate stening is effective and safe in most patients with stable angina during diagnostic catheterization. It does not increase immediate and late complications.

Pancreaticojejunostomy (PJ) is a critical step in pancreaticoduodenectomy (PD), often complicated by the risk of postoperative pancreatic fistula (POPF). This video report demonstrates a novel robotic PJ technique employing a self-expandable metallic stent. The method involves the use of the Da Vinci Xi robotic system and the WallFlex™ Biliary RX Stent for improved anastomotic support, particularly in high-risk cases defined by soft pancreatic texture and narrow duct diameter (<3 mm).

Objectives: The impact of long-term complications after robotic hybrid coronary revascularization (HCR), including persistent angina, repeat revascularization, and myocardial infarction (MI), remains limited. This study aims to determine the risk factors for coronary events after robotic HCR and their time-varying effects on outcomes.
Methods: We identified all consecutive patients who underwent robotic HCR at our institution.

Objective: it was to evaluate the efficacy and safety of rapamycin-eluting stents at different doses in the treatment of coronary artery narrowing in miniature pigs.
Methods: a total of 20 miniature pigs were randomly assigned into four groups: S1 group (low-dose rapamycin-coated stent, 55 µg/mm), S2 group (medium-dose rapamycin-coated stent, 120 µg/mm), S3 group (high-dose rapamycin-coated stent, 415 µg/mm), and D0 group (bare metal stent). The stent size was 3.

Background: The aim of the ARC-HBR (Academic Research Consortium for High Bleeding Risk) and PRECISE-DAPT (Predicting Bleeding Complications in Patients Undergoing Stent Implantation and Subsequent Dual Antiplatelet Therapy) score definitions for high bleeding risk is to identify patients who would benefit from shorter or less intensive antiplatelet therapy after coronary stenting.
Objectives: The aim of this study was to assess the performance of the ARC-HBR and PRECISE-DAPT score definitions for high bleeding risk in routine clinical practice.
Methods: Using nationwide registers, all patients in Stockholm, Sweden, who were discharged after coronary stenting with dual antiplatelet therapy (January 1, 2013, to July 1, 2018) were included.
