Background: In recent years, stroke has become the leading cause of death in the Chinese population, and the burden of stroke is huge. The aim of this study is to describe the epidemiological characteristics of population-based stroke incidence and case fatality rates in China, which are nationally representative.
Methods: In 2013, a nationally representative household survey was conducted at 155 survey sites in 31 provinces.

This study aimed to provide an updated evidence of superior hypophyseal artery (SHA) aneurysms management, including their clinical implications, predictive factors for rupture, therapeutic approaches, and post-treatment outcomes. This systematic review and meta-analysis, following PRISMA guidelines, assessed the literature on superior hypophyseal artery aneurysms. Studies were selected based on predefined criteria, focusing on coiling and clipping interventions.

Objective: Aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH) is associated with high morbidity and mortality rates. In particular, functional outcomes of SAH caused by large or giant (≥ 10 mm) ruptured intracranial aneurysms are worsened by high procedure-related complication rates. However, studies describing the risk factors for poor functional outcomes specific to ruptured large/giant aneurysms are sparse.

To evaluate the safety and efficacy of staged coiling followed by flow diverter (FD) in the treatment of ruptured intracranial aneurysms(RIAs). A retrospective analysis was conducted on 20 patients with RIAs treated with staged coiling followed by FD at a single center, between April 2015 and September 2024. Patient demographics, aneurysm characteristics, clinical and imaging outcomes were reviewed.

Background: While serial sampling of glioma tissue is rarely performed prior to recurrence, cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) is an underutilized longitudinal source of candidate glioma biomarkers for understanding therapeutic impacts. However, the impact of key variables to consider in longitudinal CSF samples for monitoring biomarker discovery, including anatomical location and post-surgical changes, remains unknown.
Methods: Aptamer-based proteomics was performed on 147 CSF samples from 74 patients, 71 of whom had grade 2-4 astrocytomas or grade 2-3 oligodendrogliomas.
