Background: Postoperative gastroparesis syndrome (PGS) is a common postoperative complication characterized by epigastralgia, nausea, and vomiting. Acupuncture is widely used to aid recovery, but its efficacy and safety have not been systematically evaluated.
Method: We retrieved randomized controlled trials (RCTs) using acupuncture as the primary intervention from six databases.

Primary hepatic lymphoma (PHL) is a lymphoproliferative disorder confined to the liver, with no evidence of lymphomatous involvement in other organs. Here, we report a case of diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL)-type PHL in a patient with a long history of primary biliary cholangitis (PBC) and Sjögren's syndrome (SS). A 78-year-old woman presented with epigastralgia and was found to have a solitary liver tumor by contrast-enhanced computed tomography (CT).

A 41-year-old premenopausal woman presented to our hospital with lower abdominal distention and epigastralgia. An ovarian endometriotic cyst was noted when she was 30 years, and was only followed up until she was 36 years. Suspecting rupture of an ovarian tumor, left adnexectomy was performed.

A 59-year-old woman developed sudden dyspnea after taking non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) for epigastralgia. She had a history of bronchial asthma after childbirth. Computed tomography showed bilateral peripheral bronchial wall thickening, lumen narrowing, obstruction, and circumferential lower esophageal mucosal edema.
