Osteosarcoma (OS) is the most common primary bone malignancy. The canonical Wnt inhibitor Dickkopf-1 (Dkk-1) has been implicated in bone destruction, tumor survival and metastases during OS. We examined the role of Dkk-1 in OS disease progression and explored strategies for targeting its activity.

Aberrant expression of grainyhead-like transcription factor 3 (GRHL3) has been extensively reported in the development and progression of several squamous cell carcinomas, such as cutaneous, head and neck, and esophageal squamous cell carcinoma. However, the clinical significance and biological roles of GRHL3 in lung squamous cell (LUSC) carcinoma are largely unclear. Herein, we report that GRHL3 was significantly upregulated in lung squamous epithelium of LUSC tissues, bronchiole, and bronchus.

Tuberculous (TB) spondylitis, also known as Pott's disease, was first described by Percivall Pott in 1779. RNA modifications are emerging as critical cancer regulators that influence tumorigenesis and progression. Key modifications, such as N6-methyladenosine (mA) and 5-methylcytosine (mC), are implicated in various cellular processes. These modifications are regulated by proteins that write, erase, and read RNA and modulate RNA stability, splicing, translation, and degradation.
