Purpose: To investigate the additional benefit of indocyanine green angiography (ICGA) over fundus fluorescein angiography (FA) in patients with posterior uveal inflammation.
Methods: The features of 19 patients with different forms of posterior uveitis (Vogt-Koyanagi-Harada disease [n = 5], serpiginous choroiditis [n = 5], multifocal choroiditis [n = 5], and sarcoidosis [n = 4]) were analyzed.
Results: On ICGA, inflammatory lesions were hypofluorescent in all phases, and early choroidal vessel dilation and leakage was noted near the lesions.
Conclusions: The combined use of FA and ICGA helps gauge the severity of inflammation in the choroid and the retina during active inflammation. In quiescent stages, however, ICGA does not give any additional information.

Singapore National Eye Centre, Singapore.
Purpose: We describe an atypical presentation of an 11-year-old female with enhanced S-cone syndrome (ESCS).
Methods: Case report. The patient underwent a thorough ophthalmic examination and investigations such as colour fundus photography, optical coherence tomography, fundus autofluorescence, fluorescein and indocyanine angiography, an electroretinogram and genetic testing.

Central serous chorioretinopathy (CSC) is a known side effect of systemic steroid therapy. The role of intravitreal steroids in causing CSC is controversial. We present two cases of acute CSC that developed after intravitreal steroid injections.

Senescent retinal pigment epithelial cells play a key role in neovascular age-related macular degeneration (nAMD); however, the mechanisms underlying the angiogenic ability of these cells remain unclear. Herein, we investigated the effects of the senescent adult retinal pigment epithelial cell line-19 (ARPE-19) on wound healing, cell migration and survival, and tube formation abilities of human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs). Additionally, we used Brown Norway rats to establish a laser-induced choroidal neovascularization (CNV) model for further nAMD-related studies.

Background: This case report describes a rare case of Coats disease in adult female patient with preserved vision after intravitreal Aflibercept injection and laser photocoagulation.
Case Presentation: A female patient of Asian Palestinian descent, aged 20, exhibited a progressive and painless deterioration in the vision of her left eye over a period of two weeks. She exhibited no additional ocular symptoms.

Purpose: A projection-resolved optical coherence tomography angiography (PR-OCTA) algorithm with slab-specific strategy was applied in polypoidal choroidal vasculopathy (PCV) to differentiate between polyp and branching vascular network (BVN) and improve polyp detection by en face OCTA.
Methods: Twenty-nine participants diagnosed with PCV by indocyanine green angiography (ICGA) and 30 participants diagnosed with typical neovascular age-related macular degeneration (nAMD) were enrolled. Polyps were classified into three categories after using the slab-specific PR algorithm.
