Background: Early diagnosis of cleft lip and palate (CLP) requires a multiplane examination, demanding high technical proficiency from radiologists. Therefore, this study aims to develop and validate the first artificial intelligence (AI)-based model (CLP-Net) for fully automated multi-plane localization in three-dimensional(3D) ultrasound during the first trimester.
Methods: This retrospective study included 418 (394 normal, 24 CLP) 3D ultrasound from 288 pregnant woman between July 2022 to October 2024 from Shenzhen Guangming District People's Hospital during the 11-13 weeks of pregnancy.

In order to achieve infrared aircraft detection under interference conditions, this paper proposes an infrared aircraft detection algorithm based on high-resolution feature-enhanced semantic segmentation network. Firstly, the designed location attention mechanism is utilized to enhance the current-level feature map by obtaining correlation weights between pixels at different positions. Then, it is fused with the high-level feature map rich in semantic features to construct a location attention feature fusion network, thereby enhancing the representation capability of target features.

Cardiovascular diseases (CVDs) are the most common health threats worldwide. 2D X-ray invasive coronary angiography (ICA) remains the most widely adopted imaging modality for CVD assessment during real-time cardiac interventions. However, it is often difficult for the cardiologists to interpret the 3D geometry of coronary vessels based on 2D planes.

Background: In magnetic resonance image (MRI)-guided radiotherapy (MRgRT), 2D rapid imaging is commonly used to track moving targets with high temporal frequency to minimize gating latency. However, anatomical motion is not constrained to 2D, and a portion of the target may be missed during treatment if 3D motion is not evaluated. While some MRgRT systems attempt to capture 3D motion by sequentially tracking motion in 2D orthogonal imaging planes, this approach assesses 3D motion via independent 2D measurements at alternating instances, lacking a simultaneous 3D motion assessment in both imaging planes.

Plane wave (PW) imaging is fast, but limited by poor imaging quality. Coherent PW compounding (CPWC) improves image quality but decrease frame rate. In this study, we propose a modified CycleGAN model that combines a residual attention module with a space-frequency dual-domain discriminator, termed RADD-CycleGAN, to rapidly reconstruct high-quality ultrasound images.
