Knowledge distillation aims to achieve model compression by transferring knowledge from complex teacher models to lightweight student models. To reduce reliance on pre-trained teacher models, self-distillation methods utilize knowledge from the model itself as additional supervision. However, their performance is limited by the same or similar network architecture between the teacher and student.

The amino acid position within a histone sequence and the chemical nature of post-translational modifications (PTMs) are essential for elucidating the "Histone Code". Previous work has shown that PTMs induce specific biological responses and are good candidates as biomarkers for diagnostics. Here, we evaluate the analytical advantages of trapped ion mobility (TIMS) with parallel accumulation-serial fragmentation (PASEF) and tandem mass spectrometry (MS/MS) for bottom-up proteomics of model cancer cells.

The chemical stability of azithromycin (AZM) may be compromised depending on the imposed thermo-oxidative conditions. This report addresses evidence of this process under varying conditions of temperature (20-80 °C), exposure time to UV radiation (1-3 h irradiation at 257 nm), and air saturation (1-3 h saturation with atmospheric air at 1.2 L min and 15 kPa) through electrochemical measurements performed with a thermoactivated cerium molybdate (Ce(MoO))/multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNT)-based composite electrode.

In this paper, a comprehensive hybrid K-edge/XRF densitometer (HKED) device model is constructed using MCNP simulation. After the modeling process, a systematic simulation study is conducted to analyze the physical parameters and material selection of KED and XRF. The simulation results reveal that the optimal parameters for the X-ray tube are an X-ray source voltage of 160 kV and a 1 mm Fe filter.
