Conflict-affected regions face severe reproductive health challenges that disproportionately impact adolescent girls and young women (AGYW) and children, who are especially vulnerable due to the breakdown of healthcare systems and limited access to essential services. AGYW are at heightened risk due to restricted access to family planning, prenatal care, and emergency obstetric services, while children face malnutrition, disease outbreaks, and developmental delays. These challenges have profound long-term consequences for both their physical and psychological well-being.

Background: Pelvic reconstruction after type I + II (or type I + II + III) internal hemipelvectomy with extensive ilium removal is a great challenge. In an attempt to anatomically reconstruct the hip rotation center (HRC) and achieve a low mechanical failure rate, a custom-made, 3D-printed prosthesis with a porous articular interface was developed. The aim of this study was to investigate the clinical outcomes of patients treated with this prosthesis.

Background: The 2020 Nagorno-Karabakh conflict resulted in displacement of approximately 90,000 ethnic Armenians from Nagorno-Karabakh to Armenia, exacerbating existing vulnerabilities in the region. This study investigated food insecurity among displaced populations and host communities in Armenia during the conflict.
Methods: This study is a secondary analysis of cross-sectional data obtained from the 2020 REACH ARM Database Multi-Sector Needs Assessment (MSNA), which was conducted across six Armenian provinces.

Objective: Percutaneous Endoscopic Transforaminal Discectomy (PETD) is recognized as the leading surgical intervention for lumbar disc herniation (LDH). Moreover, Body Mass Index (BMI) has been established as an independent risk factor for disc reherniation post-PETD. Furthermore, there is a lack of studies investigating the biomechanical changes in the disc post-PETD in relation to diverse BMI levels.

Background: This study evaluated the clinical effects of the use of a temporary bi-frame fixator in conjunction with minimally invasive percutaneous plate osteosynthesis (MIPPO) for treating AO/OTA 41B3 and 41C tibial plateau fractures (TPFs).
Methods: This was a retrospective analysis of 30 patients with TPFs affected by vertical compression seen from October 2019 to October 2020. All patients were treated with a bi-frame fixator to correct the vertical shortening deformity, with the MIPPO technique used after reduction.
