Purpose: To evaluate the impact of the temporal bone styloid process (SP) angulation on the carotid arteries (CA), both internal and external carotid arteries (ICA and ECA). The SP topographical variability and the clinical significance will be further discussed.
Materials: One hundred computed tomography angiographies (CTAs) (200 sides of 50 male and 50 female patients) were retrospectively studied.

The human patellar tendon contains distinct fascicle bundles across its mediolateral and anteroposterior regions. Studies have suggested region-specific behaviour during in vivo actions, but it is unclear whether such regional differences result from localized variation in composition and mechanical properties within the tendon itself. Furthermore, the viscoelastic properties of any region of the human patellar tendon have not been well described previously.

Accessory ribs are rare anatomical variations, typically cervical or lumbar, with intrathoracic accessory ribs being particularly uncommon. These anomalies are often asymptomatic but can cause issues like thoracic outlet syndrome. This case report describes a 36-year-old woman who was incidentally found to have an intrathoracic accessory rib on a chest X-ray.

Background: Radiofrequency (RF) transmit arrays play a crucial role in various MRI applications, offering enhanced field control and improved imaging capabilities. Designing and optimizing these arrays, particularly in high-field MRI settings, poses challenges related to coupling, resonance, and construction imperfections. Numerical electromagnetic simulation methods effectively aid in the initial design, but discrepancies between simulated and fabricated arrays often necessitate fine-tuning.

Pituitary neuroendocrine tumors remain one of the most common intracranial tumors. While radiomic research related to pituitary tumors is progressing, public data sets for external validation remain scarce. We introduce an open dataset comprising high-resolution T1 contrast-enhanced MR scans of 136 patients with pituitary tumors, annotated for tumor segmentation and accompanied by clinical, radiological and pathological metadata.
