Background: Endobronchial ultrasound-guided transbronchial needle aspiration (EBUS-TBNA) is a critical method for diagnosing lung cancer. While EBUS-TBNA is commonly performed under conscious sedation, the potential benefits of conducting the procedure under general anesthesia and incorporating rapid on-site evaluation (ROSE) to enhance diagnostic yield remain uncertain. This study aims to investigate the impact of anesthesia methods and ROSE on the diagnostic efficacy of EBUS-TBNA for lung cancer.

Aim: To investigate histopathological changes in the lung tissue of long-COVID patients.
Methods: In this cross-sectional study, transbronchial lung biopsy was performed in long-COVID patients with persisting symptoms and radiological abnormalities. Histopathologic analyses were performed by using hematoxylin-eosin, Martius, Scarlet and Blue, Movat's, thyroid transcription factor 1, CD34, and CD68 staining.

Sarcoidosis is a systemic granulomatous disease of unknown etiology, primarily affecting the lungs and the lymphatic system. Its diagnosis is challenging, and in many cases, it requires histopathological confirmation through the identification of non-caseating granulomas. The presented case illustrates its diagnostic complexity and highlights a rare, delayed complication associated with endobronchial ultrasound-guided transbronchial needle aspiration (EBUS-TBNA).

Introduction And Objectives: International guidelines for the diagnosis of Hypersensitivity Pneumonitis (HP) have improved the diagnostic standardization of this heterogeneous interstitial lung disease. Our goal was to determine how the final multidisciplinary discussion confidence level for suspected fibrotic HP (fHP) can be impacted by the application of different guidelines validated in this context.
Materials And Methods: Retrospective study including patients submitted to transbronchial lung cryobiopsy (TBLC) with a final multidisciplinary meeting diagnosis of fHP.
