The occlusion of the rat aorta's thoracic portion induces within 30 min hemodynamic shifts in major and minor circulation typical for a hypertensive incident. The occurring 4-5-fold increase of the lung venous pressure leads to no regular lung oedema and is of no major importance for its pathogenesis.

Background: Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) induces an imbalance in T helper (Th) 17/regulatory T (Treg) cells that contributes to of the dysregulation of inflammation. Exercise training can modulate the immune response in healthy subjects.
Objective: We aimed to evaluate the effects of exercise training on Th17/Treg responses and the differentiation of Treg phenotypes in individuals with COPD.

By leveraging the specificity of [ Ga]AJ647 for Nectin-4, we quantified dynamic changes in target engagement across preclinical models and established its correlation with therapeutic outcomes.

In response to a decrease in perfusion pressure or changes in the composition and/or volume of the extracellular fluid, JG cells release renin, which initiates an enzymatic cascade that culminates in the production of angiotensin II (Ang II), a potent vasoconstrictor that restores blood pressure and fluid homeostasis. In turn, Ang II exerts a negative feedback on renin release, thus preventing excess circulating renin and the development of hypertension.
