Objective: This study aimed to examine the clinical characteristics of choroidal metastases (CMs) and assess the efficacy of various treatment strategies for CMs in a specific patient cohort.
Methods: This retrospective case series study included 32 patients (38 eyes) diagnosed with CM at the Department of Ophthalmology, Peking University People's Hospital, between 2009 and 2022. The cohort included 10 male patients (10 eyes) and 22 female patients (28 eyes), with a mean age of 52.

Introduction: The American Urological Association (AUA) recommends urology referral and surgery for undescended testicle (UDT) before 18 months of age, but it has been shown that many referrals occur later, influenced by social factors.
Objective: This study aims to identify key social factors that impact UDT referral timing and appropriateness.
Study Design: Pediatric patients referred to our institution for UDT management from 2018 to 2023 were analyzed.

This chapter reviews notions about the lateralization of numbers and calculation in the brain, including its developmental pattern. Such notions have changed dramatically in recent decades. What was once considered a function almost exclusively located in the left hemisphere has been found to be sustained by complex brain networks encompassing both hemispheres.

Although most cases of logopenic variant primary progressive aphasia (lvPPA) are caused by Alzheimer's disease (AD), Lewy body disease (LBD) has also been reported. We assessed brain perfusion, atrophy, dopamine transporter (DAT) uptake, and language function among patients with lvPPA based on beta-amyloid. Thirty-three patients with lvPPA and 28 healthy controls (HCs) underwent MRI, F-florbetaben PET, and early- and late-phase DAT PET.
