Objective: To set up a new identification and analysis method of Spora Lygodii.

Method: To get the extracts of Spora Lygodii using methanol, chloroform and petroleum ether as solvent and the extracts were identified, analyzed by X-ray diffraction Fourier fingerprint spectra.

Results: Experiments and analysis were carried out on three samples. The standard X-ray diffraction Fourier fingerprint spectra and characteristic diffraction peaks were obtained. There were some differences among the spectra of the extracts, but the characteristic diffraction peaks were obvious.

Conclusion: The experimental result indicated that X-ray diffraction Fourier fingerprint spectra can be used to identify and analyze the Chinese traditional herb Lygodium japonicum (Thunb.) Sw.

The carbon footprint associated with cement production, coupled with depletion of natural resources and climate change, underscores the need for sustainable alternatives. This study explores the effect of metakaolin (MK) and nano-silica (NS) on concrete's engineering performance and environmental impact. Initially, compressive, tensile, and flexural strength tests, along with durability assessments like water absorption, sorptivity, rapid chloride permeability, and resistance to acid and sulphate attacks, were conducted.

In this study, the AlFeO@n-Pr@Et-SOH heterogeneous catalyst was successfully synthesized and utilized to produce biodiesel from oleic acid through an esterification process and to oxidize sulfides. To examine the physicochemical characteristics of the AlFeO@n-Pr@Et-SOH nanomaterial, a variety of advanced techniques were employed, including Fourier Transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), Field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM), Energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX), Vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM), Elemental Mapping, Transmission electron microscopy (TEM), Inductively coupled plasma (ICP), and X-ray diffraction (XRD). The AlFeO@n-Pr@Et-SOH materials demonstrated excellent performance in both the esterification of oleic acid and the oxidation of sulfides.

Due to the high cost of raw materials, this work aims to benefit from metal waste, especially iron (Fe) and silicon bronze, which results from turning workshops and recycling them to obtain nanocomposites for industrial applications. In this respect, Fe/SiBr/SiN/silica fume nanocomposites possessing superior mechanical, wear, and magnetic characteristics have been produced using powder metallurgy (PM) technology. Milled sample particle size, crystal size, and phase composition were investigated using X-ray diffraction (XRD) technique and transmission electron microscopy (TEM).

The salt metathesis reaction involving a diamine-based antimony chloride precursor with sodium arsaethynolate in the presence of PMe leads to the formation of stibanyl-functionalized PMe-arsinidene (). Detailed analyses through single-crystal X-ray diffraction and density functional theory of confirm the presence of covalent Sb-As bonds and reveal its polarized nature with a multiple-bond character. In contrast to the formation of complex , substituting PMe with xylyl isocyanide or 1,3-diisopropyl-4,5-dimethyl-imidazolin-2-ylidene () produces an isocyanide-arsinidene adduct () and an -arsaketene complex (), respectively.

The objective of this study was to investigate the effect of β-glucan on the pasting, gelling, rheological properties, and multi-level structures of the highland barley (HB) starch after dynamic high pressure microfluidization (DHPM) treatment, exploring the inhibition mechanisms of starch retrogradation by endogenous β-glucan after DHPM. DHPM treatment led to a decrease in the viscosity (K values from 161.1 to 54.
