In this paper, application of morpheme translation method in English translation of TCM was introduced, and its superiorities and limitations were analyzed in order to promote the standardization and improve the confused current status of the English translation of TCM.

Trigger valves are fundamental features in capillary-driven microfluidic systems that stop fluid at an abrupt geometric expansion and release fluid when there is flow in an orthogonal channel connected to the valve. The concept was originally demonstrated in closed-channel capillary circuits. We show here that trigger valves can be successfully implemented in open channels.

The Brief Inventory of Thriving (BIT) provides a holistic measure of well-being, but has only been validated for adults, and does not have a Hindi version. The present study investigated the unidimensional structure, internal consistency, convergent/discriminant, and criterion validity of both the original English version of the BIT (BIT-E) and its Hindi-translated version (BIT-H) among adolescents in India. Further, we tested measurement invariance across these two language versions, gender, and academic disciplines.
