Despite the prevalent utilization of antidepressant combinations in clinical settings, concerns persist regarding heightened side effects and potential drug-drug interactions (DDI). In response, this study investigates the interaction between citalopram (CIT) and duloxetine (DUL) using a multifaceted approach encompassing analytical, computational, behavioral, and biochemical techniques. Notably, the absence of published analytical methods tailored for studying antidepressant interactions underscores the novelty of our endeavor.

Objective: Although quetiapine has been approved for use in schizophrenic patients, its individualized dosage regimen remains unclear, especially with respect to drug-drug interactions (DDIs). Thus, we investigated the potential DDIs and optimal initial dosage of quetiapine in schizophrenic patients based on population pharmacokinetics (PPK).
Methods: Ninety-six schizophrenic patients treated with quetiapine were included to establish the PPK model, which also includes coadministration of multiple drugs.

Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) is the fourth most common psychiatric disorder with a significant morbidity rate. Despite various treatment modalities and medications, some patients show no definitive response. The aim of this study is to classify the medications of OCD with machine learning (ML) methods and to compare the classification performances of the decision tree (DT), chi-square automatic interaction detection (CHAID) algorithm, and linear model in ML methods.
