Background: Increasing prevalence of Alzheimer's Disease (AD) and limited pharmacological intervention benefits to decelerate early neurodegeneration have prompted exploration of non-pharmacological options. Recent studies indicate that combining cognitive-motor training enhances outcomes.
Methods: In a single-blind, parallel-group, randomized controlled trial of middle-aged adults with a parental history of AD, the experimental group (N = 22) underwent training with newly developed "real-world" intensive, progressive, virtual reality (VR) tasks, while walking on a treadmill.

Background: Visual Thinking Strategies (VTS) is an evidence-based pedagogical approach that uses art analysis and structured inquiry to enhance observation, critical thinking, and teamwork, especially in medical training for clinical skills development. This study aimed to compare the short-term and delayed follow-up effects of integrating Visual Thinking Strategies and Visual Thinking Activity (VTA) tasks based on the PRISM Model with Observation Exercises (OE) on medical students' observation skills, including the number of observations, number of words used, and time spent describing observations.
Method: This pre- and post-test experimental study with a control group was conducted among first-year medical students at Gonabad University of Medical Sciences during the 2023-2024 academic year.

Objective: This study examines a novel teaching model that integrates the development and use of a Medical Cloud Dictionary with project-based learning (PBL). Mendelian randomization (MR) was employed to investigate the causal relationships between immune cell phenotypes, hyperthyroidism (HD), and potential metabolic mediators. In this study, we acquired 731 immune cell phenotypes from genome-wide association studies (GWAS) (n = 18,622), HD data from the research by Handan Melike Dönertaş et al. (3,731 cases, 480,867 controls), and aggregated statistics of 1,400 blood metabolites from UK Biobank (n = 115,078).
