Prevalence of T-cell system of the immunity is found in the pharyngeal, lingual and palatine tonsils and lymph nodes. B-lymphocytes are much less numerous. Adenocytes consolidation in the structure of "pharyngeal hypophysis" is considered as additional part of the anterior hypophysis. The structure of the mucous membrane in the region of pharyngeal hypophysis is described. This membrane is deprived of protective epithelium and mucous glands.

Background and objective Lymphomas can involve the gastrointestinal (GI) tract as a primary disease or as a secondary spread of systemic disease. The GI tract is a key site for extranodal lymphomas, with Hodgkin lymphoma (HL) and non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) occurring in this region. This study aimed to analyze the demography, anatomic distribution, histological subtypes, and immunomorphological characteristics of all lymphomas with a primary GI presentation at a quaternary care hospital in southern India.

Background: The invasive tumor front (ITF) of oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) and the reactive changes in regional lymph nodes (RLNs) are believed to carry integral prognostic information about the tumor's invasive capacity and insight into host immune response, respectively.
Aim: This study aims to evaluate the reactivity patterns of RLNs in relation to the tumor stage, grade and various histopathological parameters at the ITF of primary tumor, in an attempt to elucidate the nature of host-immune response to tumor.
Materials And Methods: Pattern of invasion (POI) using Bryne's criteria, peritumoral inflammation, and status of connective tissue (CT) stroma of 50 OSCC cases, that underwent selective neck dissection were assessed at the ITF.

There is no authoritative characterization of the attributes of the hemolymph node (HLN) since Gibbes' first description in 1884. Early reports showed that HLN are found near the kidney in human and animals with the feature of numerous erythrocytes in sinuses. Subsequent studies mainly focused on anatomy and histology, such as the source, distribution, and quantity of erythrocytes in sinuses.
