With the help of a portable Minolta-CR 100 colour difference meter, measurement of upper incisors' surface colour was for the first time domestically carried out in 100 young and middle-aged Shanghai residents, and their mean parameters were also determined. Our method was met he requirements of CIE1931 XYZ surface colour system as well as that of CIE1976 L*a*b* surface colour system. The meter has a quality of high accuracy and the figures thus obtained are concentrated and representative.

Quantum dot (QD) light-emitting diodes (QLEDs) are promising candidates for next-generation displays because of their high efficiency, brightness, broad color gamut, and solution-processability. Large-scale solution-processing of electroluminescent QLEDs poses significant challenges, particularly concerning the precise control of the active layer's thickness and uniformity. These obstacles directly impact charge transport, leading to current leakage and reduced overall efficiency.

Green electrospinning for the production of freshness-indicating labels, employing entirely natural biopolymers and pigments, holds significance in the development of intelligent food packaging. This study aimed to prepare zein (Z) fibrous film (FF) incorporated with varying concentrations of anthocyanin (A; 0-0.5 %) through green electrospinning.

The perceived colors of silicon-on-insulator (SOI) wafers with etched Si surface layers of thickness 90 nm to 30 nm vary from turquoise to purple to golden. Measured reflectance curves spanning ultraviolet, visible, and near infrared wavelengths have an amplitude modulated oscillatory pattern. Multilayer reflectance calculations indicate the oscillatory pattern results from the 2 µm thick buried SiO layer which functions as a nearly lossless reflective Fabry-Perot etalon in the near infrared where SiO and Si are transparent.

By exploring the changes in ablation thresholds for resin and carbon fiber under varying wavelengths and pulse numbers, optimal wavelength combinations were identified. Adjustments to processing parameters and pulse delay enabled precise removal of the CFRP surface, targeting resin while causing no damage to the underlying carbon fibers.

Firstly, the correct strong reflection region is found by studying the reflected light characteristics, and the strong reflection region highlights are filtered out using Stokes parameters based on polarization information. Then, a system of microlens arrays with different transmittances was built for imaging, and the system was image-corrected to enable more information about the scene to be captured.
