Purpose: To describe the clinical characteristics of glaucoma-related adverse events (GRAE) after pediatric cataract surgery. More importantly, to identify the factors associated with the time of GRAE onset and the preferred anti-glaucomatous surgical procedure for this disease.
Methods: Hospitalized medical records of patients who developed GRAE, which include glaucoma and glaucoma suspect, after pediatric cataract surgery (surgical age ≤ 14 years) between 1994 and 2021 were retrospectively reviewed.

The Purpose: Of the study was to assess oral microbiocenosis changes in participants of microgravity modeling in a control group and using prophylaxis in the form of a probiotic supplement with 1.0·10 CFU of strain in one lozenge and a dairy product containing not less than 1·10 CFU of s strain in one gram.

The purpose of this review was to study the effect of COVID-19 on the endocrine system. The scientific novelty of this study is the evaluation of the effect of coronavirus infection on the endocrine system and the potential effect of hormones on susceptibility to COVID-19.

Purpose: Thyroid hormones have a catabolic effect on bone mineral homeostasis. Hypothyroid patients have shown changes in bone mineral density with increased risk for osteoporosis and bone fractures. Radiomorphometric parameters on panoramic images are good indicators of bone mineral density.
