Submucosal uterine fibroids are the rarest type of fibroids. They can lead to abnormal uterine bleeding and may play a role in infertility and miscarriage. Hysteroscopic myomectomy is the preferred treatment to relieve bleeding caused by these fibroids and to restore the normal structure of the uterine cavity.

Material And Methods: The authors provide expert and court practice examples to show fundamental differences in forensic medical assessment of causal relations of improper provision of medical care with an adverse outcome. A focus is given to the court's assessment of expert opinions in a criminal process.
Post-Normal Science (PNS) was introduced about 30 years ago to address the changing relation between science and governance when science is called upon to provide inputs to policy-related issued. Originally concerned mainly with environmental risks, in the last decades the PNS approach has been applied to a growing and diversified number of issues. It is considered particularly appropriate in situations characterized by: uncertain facts, a plurality of potentially conflicting values, high stakes, and urgent decisions.

The health implications of e-cigarette use compared to traditional cigarette smoking continue to attract significant public health interest. This study examines self-rated health (SRH) outcomes among exclusive e-cigarette users versus exclusive traditional cigarette smokers, using data from the Health Survey for England 2019. From an initial sample of 10,299 participants, the study focused on 8204 adults, excluding those aged 0-15.
