25 subjects aged 19-25 years with Class II malocclusion were assessed using radiographic and functional methods of diagnosis. Individual differences in occlusion plane form and position and dentofacial muscles functioning were established.

Spatio-Temporal Analysis of Acute Myocardial Ischaemia Based on Entropy-Complexity Plane.

Myocardial ischaemia is a decompensation of the oxygen supply and demand ratio, often caused by coronary atherosclerosis. During the initial stage of ischaemia, the electrical activity of the heart is disrupted, increasing the risk of malignant arrhythmias. The aim of this study is to understand the differential behaviour of the ECG during occlusion of both the left anterior descending (LAD) and right anterior coronary artery (RCA), respectively, using spatio-temporal quantifiers from information theory.

To observe the stability of vertical dimension of occlusion (VDO) and mandibular position in full-mouth occlusal reconstruction subjects by means of digital occlusal analysis. Six subjects who had completed full-mouth occlusal reconstruction by intraoral functional generated path technique for more than three years in the Department of Prosthodontics, Peking University School and Hospital of Stomatology were enrolled for follow-up observation, all six patients were male, with an age of (53.6±8.

Introduction: The cant of the occlusal plane in the frontal plane reflects facial asymmetry. Its treatment requires close collaboration between the orthodontist and the maxillofacial surgeon. In case of mild cant, treatment consists in coordination of dental arches followed by mandibular osteotomy.

Background And Purpose: In acute ischemic stroke, the amount of "local" CBF distal to the occlusion, i.e. all blood flow within a region whether supplied antegrade or delayed and dispersed through the collateral network, may contain valuable information regarding infarct growth rate and treatment response.

Under-occlusion ('infraocclusion' as defined in the natural teeth) after implant restoration in the posterior area is commonly encountered in clinical practice; however, it has rarely been reported. Most importantly, the under-occlusion change mechanism remains unknown. The purpose of this case report was to analyze how the dentition of both arches changed in a patient, including teeth tilting, elongation and occlusal plane change with under-occlusion of the posterior implant restoration after long-term function.
