Nuclear factor-κB (NF-κB) cell signaling pathway is essential for the progression and development of numerous human disorders, including cancer. NF-κB signaling pathway regulates a wide range of physiological processes, such as cell survival, growth, and migration. Deregulated NF-kB signaling resulted in unregulated cell proliferation, viability, movement, and invasion, thus promoting tumor development.

The aim of this study is to analyze the role played by the appearance of female ghosts in their redemption. In the literature on ghosts, entries on female ghosts highlight their "beautiful appearance": Arang (Korean), Otsuyu (Japanese), The White Lady (Europe), Nie Xiaoqian (Chinese), and Maria Makiling (Filipino). Ghosts are women who died tragically, leaving behind unfulfilled desires-particularly those related to romantic or societal expectations such as marriage, love, and motherhood.

Citrus fruits are widely distributed in East Asia, and tea made from citrus peels has demonstrated health benefits, such as a reduction in fever, inflammation, and high blood pressure. However, citrus leaves have not been evaluated extensively for their possible health benefits. In this study, the α-glucosidase-inhibitory activity of Jeju citrus hot-water (CW) and ethyl alcohol (CE) extracts, along with hesperidin (HP) (a bioactive compound in citrus leaf extracts), was investigated, and furthermore, their effect on postprandial blood glucose reduction in an animal model was determined.

Cold stress, a major abiotic factor, positively modulates the synthesis of artemisinin in Artemisia annua and influences the biosynthesis of other secondary metabolites. To elucidate the changes in the synthesis of secondary metabolites under low-temperature conditions, we conducted dynamic transcriptomic and metabolite quantification analyses of A. annua leaves.

The recovery of community productivity in disturbed temperate forests is affected by fluctuating nutrient environments. How plant growth achieves high biomass accumulation in a limited nutrient environment remains unclear but may be attributed to the flexibility of plant nutrient utilization. Nutrient homeostasis (H) reflects the ability of plant tissues to maintain a relatively constant N and P content under nutrient fluctuations and represents flexible or stable plant nutrient utilization.
