Computational approaches offer a valuable tool to aid with the early diagnosis of melanoma by increasing both the speed and accuracy of doctors' decisions. The latest and best-performing approaches often rely on large ensemble models, with the number of trained parameters exceeding 600 million. However, this large parameter count presents considerable challenges in terms of computational demands and practical application.

Background: The selection of the best donor for each specific patient is crucial for the success of allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT). However, there is debate on the choice of the best donor when multiple suitable donors exist.
Methods: By using own data from two transplant centers, we have developed a calculator able to provide the patients' 2-year overall survival (OS) associated with each of the potential donor options during the selection process, in order to support the transplant physician during the choice.

Balancing the risks of ischemic and bleeding events in patients who have undergone coronary angioplasty with drug-eluting stents (DES) is a delicate task. Individuals recovering from myocardial infarction are at increased risk of recurrent ischemic events, highlighting the potential benefits of rigorous secondary prevention measures. Dual antiplatelet therapy (DAPT), combining aspirin with P2Y12 inhibitors such as clopidogrel or ticagrelor, forms the cornerstone of post-percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) care aimed at preventing stent thrombosis and lowering the risk of ischemic events.
