Significance: Decoding naturalistic content from brain activity has important neuroscience and clinical implications. Information about visual scenes and intelligible speech has been decoded from cortical activity using functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) and electrocorticography, but widespread applications are limited by the logistics of these technologies.
Aim: High-density diffuse optical tomography (HD-DOT) offers image quality approaching that of fMRI but with the silent, open scanning environment afforded by optical methods, thus opening the door to more naturalistic research and applications.

Background: It is challenging to teach the complexity of the doctor-patient relationship through attitude, ethics, and communication (AETCOM) modules, particularly without being formally trained and especially to first-year medical students who do not interact directly with patients. The present study was undertaken to assess the effectiveness of trigger films (TFs) or short movie clips as a teaching-learning tool to train undergraduate medical students on various aspects of doctor-patient relationships.
Methods: Two modules on various aspects of the doctor-patient relationship were developed using TFs and written case studies and implemented on Phase Ⅰ medical students.

Although previous studies have suggested an association between digital media use and health, detailed knowledge about how different types of digital media impact adolescent health is limited. This cross-sectional population-based study explored the relationship between time spent on various digital media and adolescents' self-rated general and mental health. The study included 3566 Swedish high school students aged 16-17 years.

Research on the neuropathological mechanisms underlying minor depression (MD), particularly in individuals with a history of recurrent minor depressive episodes, is very limited. This study focuses on the abnormality in processing real-life emotional stimuli among individuals with MD. Thirty-two individuals with MD and 31 normal controls (NC) were recruited and underwent comprehensive clinical interview, cognitive assessment, and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans.
