Increasing evidence suggests that Lewy body disease (LBD) is associated with clinically important cardiac complications, including sick sinus syndrome, atrial fibrillation and sudden cardiac death. The high prevalence of sick sinus syndrome and atrial fibrillation in LBD suggests the presence of disease-related atrial conduction disorders. To explore whether LBD is associated with atrial conduction disorders, electrocardiographic (ECG) P wave parameters were analyzed in a cohort of LBD patients (n = 74), using age-matched Alzheimer's disease (AD) patients (n = 25) as controls.

Aims: To investigate the distribution of left atrioventricular coupling index (LACI) among patients with heart failure and left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF)<50% and to explore its association with the combined endpoint of all-cause death or HF hospitalization at long term follow-up.
Methods And Results: Patients with HF and LVEF<50% undergoing cardiac magnetic resonance (CMR) were evaluated. Patients with atrial fibrillation or flutter were excluded.

Background: This study compares 2 minimally invasive coronary revascularization approaches: robot-assisted multivessel minimally invasive direct coronary artery bypass (MIDCAB) and the hybrid approach combining MIDCAB with subsequent percutaneous coronary intervention.
Methods: A retrospective review was conducted on cases of robotic MIDCAB performed at our institution between 2012 and 2022. Two groups of patients were analyzed: the surgery group (undergoing robotic multivessel MIDCAB) and the hybrid group.
