Uveitis is one of the important causes of blindness in the world. Uveitis has been generally defined as the inflammation occurring in the intraocular tissues. The causes and entities of uveitis have changed over time. The mechanism for the pathogenesis of uveitis has been extensively studied and great achievement has been obtained during recent years. Novel techniques for uveitis diagnosis and the application of immunoregulatory and biologic agents have improved the treatment for the uveitis patients.

In mammals, enucleation is the most common procedure performed; however, due to the distinct anatomical features of the avian eye, evisceration may be the preferred method in these species. The large globe size and rigid sclera leave the bird with a large sunken eye socket, which may cause the bird to become unbalanced and is not cosmetically appealing.

Method: Case report and literature review of clinical features in VKH with choroidal detachment.
Results: A 76-year-old woman presented with bilateral blurred vision and headache 6 months prior to visiting our hospital.
