Background: Peristomal pyoderma gangrenosum (PPG) is a non-infectious neutrophilic dermatosis most commonly seen in the context of ostomies in inflammatory bowel disease. The lack of established treatment guidelines and high-quality evidence in the form of randomized controlled trials present a major challenge in PPG management, owing to the rarity of the condition. Treatment can be further complicated by difficulties in maintaining the stoma pouch seal with conventional topical corticosteroids.

Objective: To assess CXC chemokine receptor 5 (CXCR5) circulating DNA methylation differences in autoimmune rheumatic diseases and their relation with clinical features.
Methods: Targeted methylation sequencing was performed using peripheral blood from 164 rheumatoid arthritis (RA), 30 systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), 30 ankylosing spondylitis (AS), 30 psoriatic arthritis (PsA), 24 Sjögren's syndrome (SS) patients, and 30 healthy controls (HC).
Results: Significant differences in CXCR5 cg19599951 methylation were found between RA and HC, as well as AS and SLE.

Here, we present an extensive study that profiles molecular differences in plasma from EcB patients using an unbiased multi-omics approach. We performed shotgun proteomics and metabolomics on 105 plasma samples, including those from EcB patients and healthy volunteers.
